After being so fed up with dating years ago , I've been single for five years now. I just recently decided to try again, and met a Mr. Nice Guy all great on paper but despite me repeatedly maintaining my boundaries he tried to find ways around them in manipulative ways.

Then I told him I didn't want to have sex until my birth control was taking care of (which means no sex for the first week of us knowing each other. )

But during that week he kept slipping into our conversations (even when not on topic) how good he is at a the pull out method. (not to mention it worried me that was his go-to solution, instead of you know, condoms.)

Then when I finally got annoyed at him for bringing it up when I've made my stance clear--no sex for at least a week--he called me dominating and unfair, that he's just sooo attracted to me and he didn't want to wait a week. We obviously didn't make it the week before I ended things.

If this is a sneak peek into what it's like trying to date these days, I think I'd rather be single forever.
