Hiya Frederick!
Ha! Great point!!
And I believe gender bias in medical research is the answer to why this information wasn't known before.
Women were excluded in medical research or clinical trials for a variety of reasons, but mainly because it was thought female hormones would distort results too much and, a bit ironically, that there aren't any differences between male and female biology or at least no significant differences to warrant the inclusion of women. This bias began changing around the 1970-80s during the women’s movement, but it wasn't until 1993 that the US passed a law stating women must be included -- but even then there were typically fewer women. (Sources: https://orwh.od.nih.gov/toolkit/recruitment/history

And as for Elon Musk, I don't trust him in the slightest but thanks for watching out :-)
Thank you also for your continued support Frederick. I appreciate you!
