Scientist Claims He Discovered the Fourth State of Water

Did he? And if so, what could it mean?

So, a couple of months ago, a reader of my newsletter, Curious Life, suggested an intriguing topic to explore — the fourth dimension of water. Obviously, it piqued my interest, and I’ve since sought to learn more about it. Finally, I’ve gathered enough information to understand the concept and share it with you if you haven’t already learned about it.

In our pursuit of knowledge, we often discover a function of the noun — person, place, or thing — we’re studying, pat ourselves on the back, and classify it as “understood.” Though, repeatedly, at some point later on, we find the same noun has multiple roles or possesses more than one function.

And apparently, such is the case with water.

Underestimating Water

Water is a bit of a paradox. On the one hand, water is known as the elixir of Life, yet we take it for granted. I’m not talking about the impacts of global warming and the incoming water scarcity on the planet. I mean that many of us view the composition and elements of water as a conquered topic in science.
