Ugh, I can't agree with this more. I actually quit online dating a little over a year ago. Though, a friend of mine met her new boyfriend right around the time COVID-19 hit.

She said because of the virus they were extra careful and talked more before they agreed to meet. She also said that they went on more dates before ending one with a kiss, also out of precaution.

So maybe the dating scene will change. I can only hope, because I'm with you. Dating has become a headache, and if it stays the way it was when I quit, then I'm perfectly happy to stay single and have the only man in my life be Albert, my dog.
